Also, draft up a clearly written return policy so that everyone is on the same page from day one, and you don't have to deal with complicated returns at a later time. 

 

Number three: Write accurate and detailed descriptions of every product you put up for sale. This is probably the most important tip of all because buyers are more willing to purchase something from you if they know exactly what they're getting. And remember, you need good feedback to grow your eBay business, so disappointing customers on a regular basis is definitely not recommended. If you're selling an item that has some flaws, clearly state this in the item's description. Don't try to pull the wool over the eyes of customers.
